Coming from Australia, it was not easy to find a guide or tour operator in El Salvador and Central America, but I was very lucky to come across Birding in El Salvador. When I landed, Ben was there to collect me, and the adventure began. He knew exactly where to go and, as a bonus, you learn a lot about the culture and traditions of the visited areas. I was so happy and impressed with my experience that I booked Benjamin a second time to explore adjacent Honduras and its very different climate and species. I very much doubt that there would be another guide who comes close to Benjamin’s bird species knowledge and the ability to easily facilitate local hotspots.
